Terms and Conditions of Sales

1. Payment

Our policy is payment in advance, via bank transfers, via PayPal, or in unusual cases, cash payment. There will be a 10-day holding period in the case of international bank transfers. If your payment does not work, for whatever reason, we will not ship your purchase.

Note Please note your purchase order number in this field
Please Pay In Swiss Francs if at all possible! If not, pay the equivalent plus 5% to the same account as above.

b. Our PayPal account

for accepting payments is denominated on the following email address:

      [email protected]

Again, if possible, please send the amount in Swiss Francs. Otherwise, please send the equivalent amount plus 5%.

To pay using PayPal, send the amount due on your invoice to PayPal using the above address as recipient and that is it (click on “Send Money” on the PayPal website for your country – if you do not know how to find that, navigate to www.paypal.com and find the website for your country).

If you do not have a PayPal account, you can still pay via PayPal using a major credit card. To do this, please send us an email at [email protected] with your order number and your email address. We will send you a PayPal “request for payment” email, and you can settle this with PayPal in whatever way is possible for you and in your country. When PayPal indicates that your payment has reached our account, we will ship your order.

c. Cash Payment

In special cases, we will accept a cash payment if you pick up the merchandise from us in Auw, but please, in Swiss Francs only and no bills larger than CHF 200 (there is a Raiffeisen bank with a 24×7 Swiss Franc cash dispenser just across the street, and they exchange currencies during normal business hours, Monday-Friday; there is also a Post Office close to the bank and the Post Bank function is open until 18:00 on weekdays and until 11:00 on Saturday mornings – they also exchange currencies).

The reason for trying to avoid payments in other currencies is that the exchange rates are constantly moving, and particularly the Swiss Franc recently (unfortunately). If you pay in Swiss Francs, our risk in currency transfer is minimised or at least reduced.

2. Shipping

Shipping outside Switzerland is usually expensive, and we must charge international clients for shipping and insurance. We can discuss what the optimum shipping option is for your requirements when the time comes. In addition, if we ship things outside Switzerland, you may be charged customs duty and sales tax (VAT, MwSt, IVA, TVA or whatever) by your country when the items are delivered to you. There usually is a minimum free allowance, but it is ridiculously low in most countries (like around EUR 10,00). The only exceptions to this regulation that we know of at this time are the other three EFTA states (Liechtenstein, Norway, and Iceland) and the Republic of China. We are researching a solution to this but we have not found a feasible solution so far.

3. Refunds

We normally do not give refunds for products you do not like when you receive them, but we will usually give the value less 15% as a credit, assuming no damage or wear on the original product. That covers our restocking cost and shipping of the exchange item.

We will give full credit for products that are “broken”, and goods that are damaged in transit will be covered by the transport insurance.

4. Sales Tax, VAT, etc.

At this point, we charge no VAT (MwSt, TVA, IVA, etc.) or other sales tax – we also get no credit for VAT we pay. When we grow into a larger business, we will be required to charge and keep track of VAT. We do not expect that to happen in the near future.
